After 3 years of bitching and moaning about graphics&models I decided just to use placeholders for everything and just push on.

Now I have an account system in place for players (web page for registering an account and player)
Starting map
PlayerCharacter is pulled from database when you enter and saved when you disconnect.

Next steps:

Shopkeepers&players with inventories in a database and general inventory behaviour
First NPC area with mobs on a second dedicated server.
Skillsystem
Quests

placeholders are the best way to go..
